A New Broom Sweeps Clean-Reform in Egypt

Howdy Comrades!

A totally unexpected conjunction of novel technologies, social media, a push for generational change and massive contradictions of class and life-styles has nearly driven Egypt to the brink of anarchy.  Of course, we first noticed this phenomenon in the thwarted green revolution in Iran.  I still expect the need for change to again circle back to the so-called Islamic Republic despite the brutal suppression by its current criminal regime.  Of course, the first success was in Tunisia but without the United States propping up Mubarak in Egypt, his thirty year reign will soon end.  The only question is at what cost?  Will the death toll rise from the hundreds to the thousands?  My thoughts are with the young people and the poor of Egypt in their struggle for democracy and better living conditions.  I don't believe Jordan is another example of this movement.  The king seems to be genuinely loved by his people.  Who knows what will happen in Yemen, Libya and Saudi Arabia.  Some of those regimes will likely attempt an Iranian response to dissent but this tactic will ultimately fail.  If anyone knows of blind people in any of these countries, please ask them to contact me through this blog or my website:
